I found this book to be very helpful with lots of good information. Clear and concise with good pictures and markups.
The author offers some techniques that will really benefit any level of rider. Must read for barrel racers.
This book is great for competitors, trainers and even for those who want to start in the barrel racing, I'm a barrel racer in Brazil, and the techniques that Jessi Mead teaches in her book are already bringing excellent results in the training of my horses.
This was a good book. I really enjoyed it. It was not as good as Sharon Camarillo's barrel racing book, but it explained the riders body position very well, and offered some good advice for prepping a horse for competition.
This is a great resource to have handy when starting or tuning a barrel horse. I found it REALLY helpful, and worth much more than the asking price!

Pictures, diagrams and lots of details make this a clear, step by step guide to taking the confusion and grey areas out of training young barrel horses, or improving the older horse's performance. Lots of tips to improve rider position and timing as well. A great read for the novice as well as the experienced competitor or aspiring competitor.
